Hi everyone, my name is Happy von Haupt and I am about 14 months old (I might be even younger but unfortunately I can't recall the date I was born). When the volunteer was walking around the shelter checking her list of shepherds to rescue, she stopped in front of my kennel with a big grin on her face. I think it must have been my special talent of wagging my tail so hard that my whole butt wiggles like crazy, that made her stop. I heard her say that she has never seen a butt and tail wag so fast. She also said that I just ooze happiness. I heard the magic words of 'I'll take her too", and I started to wag even more if that's possible. She had to rearrange the many crates in the van to fit me in because I was an extra add-on, but she squeezed one more crate in and I squeezed into the crate, so excited to be free! I am very friendly with people and I can guarantee that you too will smile when you see my "wiggle butt performance". I shared my run with another dog for a while so I will be fine with your pooch if you happen to have one. I am on the smaller side, maybe 50-55 pounds, so perfect for those of you looking for a smaller shepherd. Westside named me because of my infectious personality and my always smiling face!
